Hi! I’m Michael Rfdshir, I’m doing strange claymation games, and I’ve failed LD37.
In a way.
I got a small idea in according the theme “one room”.
Protein Motel Room
But I couldn’t finish the “Protein Motel in time. Since then it has grown, become more complex and mutated.

About a month ago I decided to quit my regular job and become a game developer.

And, after a month of work, posted the game on Greenlight. I really trying to put the soul into the Protein Motel, and I hope that game will be unusual and striking.
So, I’ll be very appreciated for upvotes: Greenlight page. To open in the Steam App copy that link into browser: steam://url/CommunityFilePage/900861469

Want to say a huge THANKS to all of you for the fact there is such a cool thing as Ludum Dare! I mean it! Thanks!
And, wish you good luck in the upcoming contest! I hope to meet you there ^_^

I’ve made the difficult decision not to upload a raw prototype of the Protein Motel on Jam. Don’t want to spoil the impression. Continue to work hard. Good to you all!

Holy clay, I have no chance to finish on time for the compo ^_^ Though I’ll do my best to make a playable prototype for jam.
On the other hand, I’ve reached a certain amount of enlightenment. I almost don’t care about the deadlines and scores. Just want to make this Thing as good as I can.

So if you are interested, stay in touch on Twitter :_:

Good luck to you all, people!

No Man’s Clay – little update

First things first. A huge thanks to everyone who played and commented the No Man’s Clay!

I thought that the game is too easy, but as I understand, no one was able to get The Cube. And this is my fault – it was not possible to restart the puzzle, to try different solutions.

So, I release an update. To restart with the “wheel” object, just interact with the square slot:

Using imagination and luck, you can get all of these beautiful shiny thingy (and unlock the multiplayer, and taste The Cake, of course) ^_^

Hey hoy!
Welcome to the No Man’s Clay,
where you can try to invent the Cube from an ancient wheel.

No Man's Clay gameplay

On the last day, I realized that I have no time to exercise ambitious plans such as “building a spaceship” or “procedural generation of the planet”. But, somehow managed to make minimal gameplay.
I love the setting, and will try to develop the idea further.

Well, gooooodbye, compo.
Hello, lazy jam… I hope ^_^

No Man's Clay

And “No Man’s Clay” has transmutated. Now you don’t need to build a spaceship to bring ancient technology to the earthlings. Just try to invent the cube. The cube, from wheel. On the clay planet. That’s all.

P.S. I still hope to insert some procedural generation. I’m serious ^_^

Feel free to join me on Twitter!

…or bad karma. It seems, I have no time to finish multiplayer. Actually, procedural generation, too. And a space ship. Sorry.
But, the work goes on – here’s an ancient alien mechanism. Wait…. What? ^_^

This joke has gone too far. I mean, far away from the “ancient technology”.
I need to make some ancient machines, urgently.
And code. A couple of hundred lines, for start T_T

At the moment I’ve only generate some clay graphics. Can’t get to the code, because I haven’t come up with the race name.

Claytonians? Clayterians? Or may be I should generate the name procedurally?

just make game about drilling. It looks amazing!
The experimenters restored the ancient Egyptian technology of drilling granite with copper pipe and corundum.

As we all know, the aliens gave to our ancestors all the ancient technologies, such as antimatter, wheel, and laser beams from the eyes *_*

So I’m doing a game about claytonians, building a spaceship on a planet full of nothing (and the clay), to fly and help earthlings.

Perhaps the idea is not too original, but I’m trying to implement it in a weird and interesting way.
