Lets face it, my game sucked, it was glitchy and unpredictable , and now that I look through my code I see why, I have no consistency with coding, I did some things this way here and other ways there, its a mess in that code, mabey is even a symbolization of how my brain works… any way If any good java programmer wants to give me some tips on good organization, that would be lovely :)

Sadly time ran out and this is the final product, it is a huge mess, and so many things still need to be done, not today though.

This is the first screenshot of my game I am making in Java from scratch, don’t worry the art will improve soon. I have basic controls down so far… I am not telling my idea around the theme yet as other might steal it.

Hello Internets

This upcoming Ludum dare will be my first, and I am very much looking forward to it.

I will be using Java from scratch (no Slick 2D or LWJGL), Pinta and Gimp for Graphics, sfxr and Audacity for sounds, and Kill Paris to keep me going. I am wondering how long I should take breaks for, eg sleeping, eating washroom breaks ect. I hope you all enjoy the Compo
