Here it is, my game is finished and fully fonctionnal. You can see it here. I’m really tired from this weekend, but at least I have the feel that I achieved something. Next week I’m gonna make a longer post to tell you what I learned from this game jam and start to look at all the super games you made!

So i woke up to see the theme, and i must admit that it doesn’t inspire me at all! But well, it’s always a good experience to overcome a challenge, so i’m trying anyway.
Engine : Unity
IDE : Visual Studio
Graphism : Paint.net
Audio : Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Hey, less than 6 hours left before the end of the compo! But i will go to bed before the last hour, so i better hurry up. Anyway, i’ve done enough to make the game playable. It includes enemies, locked door and spikes. I just need to add some level (hopefully it doesn’t take so much time) and generate the audio.
Okay, it’s time to sleep for a while! But now, here what i’ve done the first day :
The picture show almost everything i finished. The player will have ONE spear, that he can plant in a wall to create a platform (did you say Volgarr?), throw to activate switch (WIP) or use to smash enemy. This spear can do ANYTHING, but just one thing at once, so think twice. The screenshot show an ennemy (no sprite yet) with basic IA (predefined route), and a lever associated to a door.
Tomorrow i will improve the enemies, add some levels and we will see!
Hey everyone, this one will be my first LD and my first jam ever. I have been watching you all for some months, and i’m now ready to enter the contest! I will just try to finish something, even if it is not something excellent, according to your tips. I stalked everyone of you, and finally decided what i will use :
Framework : Phaser (HTML5)
Image : Paint.NET
Sound : sfxr
Music : Abundant-music
Yeah, that’s some easy tools, audio will just be generated quickly as i’m not a good musician, graphics will be simple as hell, and i choose Phaser to develop mainly because it’s really easy and fast to code with, and a web game seems to me the best way to start.
