The game I plan to make:

A strategy/management game about a group of people that live inside the metro stations after the nuclear war.

Conquer new stations, explore the unknown and watch for your dwellers.

Link to download  Okay. A lot of things gone wrong and it’s may be buggy as hell. The great lesson not to change things in the end of deadline : )

You play as a father who protects Annie ( daughter ) from fiends. They will spawn outside house and will try to kill you. Also you need to change Annie’s bandages and get ammo from the box in the garage.

Annie is wounded and can’t leave her room. The main idea was to block potential  fiend paths with boxes and furniture but I did not have time to programm this feature. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the mood I tried to show in this game : )

Added some meat and blood. Added cool quote mechanic : when the girl you protecting is near and you shoot sometimes your hero can say something like ” Stay back! ” : )

Doing my best to finish game for the jam, Filling exhausted and satisfied.  To boost things up and be able to finish in time made  some feature cuts ( npc simulation with moving around house, now your daughter is wounded and sit inside one room )

You need to bring medicine, food in her room. Also it will be getting cold time to time so you must go to the heating room and raise temperature. Of course you should keep eye on monsters. They are cowardly waiting for a perfect time to strike you our your daughter.

Finished with shooting mechanic, well except the bullet trail thing : ) Excited about killing fiends soon : )

Also played a little bit with light volumes to make more “night mood”.  Do you like this light or light from the previous pics ?

Finally I’m satisfied with lights and shadows though they could be improved : ) Made some furniture to throw in fiends. The gameplay will be something like patroling house and keeping eye on your daughter. She will hang around and can get in troubles pretty quick.

So 24 hours after I have a girl ( daughter  of the main hero ) with a bear  to protect : ) Finished with basic stuff, now it’s time for some REAL ACTION WITH BIG GUNS. Sleeping is for (*(%”№*?(%)”№?,  So I’ll continue working till death : )

Todo :

Pistol, Shotgun logic, effects and UI

Knife and Baseball bat for melee weapons

Moving girl around

Adding walls, doors, windows for zombies to come in to play with our daughter

Okey, we decided to make a small game around defending rooms in house. There will be a small story : You are a father that protects dauther from hordes of zombies/monsters inside your house.

You must check windows, doors and any spot where zombies can break through.  The main mechanic is build around field of view. You don’t see anything behind your back or whatever is not in your sight

Spacelot is our first entry to ludumdare : ) We haven’t finished everything by time. It’s more technical demo than finished game.

The plot :
The Earth was destroyed by the *EVIL* robots from the space. You travel on the unfinished cruiser and searching place for your new home. Inspired by Battlestar Galactica and star control.
