This Ludum Dare was the greatest experience for us so far. Our game Agent Hooker was met with almost universal acclaim. We’re incredibly happy to read all those great comments and want to thank the community for support and inspiration. I’ve seen many great entries to come out of LD and hope to see more later, or maybe find something I missed.


Thanks to your feedback we’re working on a proper version of our game and hope to release it somewhat soon. It will feature all the stuff we haven’t had time to implement, proper tutorial and difficulty curve, brand new music, plot (with a secret-ish twist!) and much more levels. And of course more charming pixel art and animations by yours truly. Have some previews from new version:

Hello people, and thanks to al of you for the warm feedback on our Ludum Dare jam entry. We already decided to work on the full version of Agent Hooker, where we incorporate all ideas we had no time to implement as well as many fixes and proper difficulty curve. We’d appreciate if you commented what you like and dislike about the game, so we could use your feedback to make full version even better! Who knows, maybe we’ll implement some of the ideas you suggest.

Despite some initial difficulties we consider this a success. We chose “two button controls” theme over “growing”. You are the most handsome superspy guy sent to infiltrate Dr. Evil Lair, while he is on tropical vacation.

Game is controlled with 2 mouse buttons for 2 hookshots. You can aim them both with clicking and then releasing buttons simultaneously.

Too bad we’ve run out of time again, so no menu, tutorial or plot. But we hope you enjoy it anyway! We are planning to release a post-jam version later.

Last Rooftop Hero

Ok, guys. This is fail of pretty epic proportions. I forgot to disable WASD in my compo entry Last Rooftop Hero. The whole idea of gameplay was to use one single button only for the whole game. I’ve NEVER used WASD during testing, and thought everyone had a one-button game. I think I’ve just made these controls out of habit and forgot about them.

Fixing this “typo” took me 5 seconds, should be a proper version without WASD now. The thing is… You never know. The game has been online for 3 days and now I don’t really know how many have people found this and had “wrong” gameplay. And not a single one person have told me up to this point 😀

Last Rooftop Hero in 48 hours!

Well, I’ve just finished my first ever Ludum Dare 48 compo! 5 minutes before deadline of course :D. I think I’ve done well. Sadly had no time to make various enemies. If people enjoy stomping stuff, I’d like to remake Last Rooftop Hero in future with more content (enemies, powerups), more mechanics and better graphics.

Last Rooftop Hero – day 1

Day 1 of my first ever 48 hours solo compo done. Luckily, I’ve got a fun playable prototype, so it’s not a fail already. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to do more graphics, more enemies, music, gui. God, I hate making menus and leaderboards. I just wanna polish gameplay and game feel.
