OpenFrameworks fail

I chose OpenFrameworks as the library for my game and I developed on OSX thinking I could port easily to windows.   So with 10 mins left I download OF for windows only to find it requires windows 8 visual studio 2012 – I don’t have time to upgrade windows/install VS gah.   So then I try to export my OSX version but every time I distribute the archive and run my app it crashes…  still not sure why, but I think it is because maybe the app can’t find the openframeworks library file?  I also don’t have a Mac developer account – not going to drop $99 for the compo.  Not that my game was complete but I wanted to at least submit what I had.   It looks a bit like this:
