What this is I don’t even?  After several thrown out ideas, and a few reskins, this is what I’ve come up with so far.  This HTML5 game features water physics.  I’ve planned out quite a few levels, each with a story.

Still a fair bit to go, but I’m definitely looking forward to the sound design portion!

And now to wait.

It certainly was an interesting two days.  I got done more than I expected, but less that I would like.

I can’t wait to start playing the other awesome entries I’ve been seeing posts about!

My entry is here: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-23/?uid=10937

Or you can download it directly from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?aarlgfsudviottl

( It’s not compiled, just open the .love with WinZip or equivalent for the source. )

5/6 of the competition has gone by!

Where has the time gone?  Got the main gameplay feature done, bouncy bouncy fun!

Now I can add in lots more levels and more fun stuff.  It’s crunch time!

I decided on a (sort of cheesy) name, and I’ve got up a title screen, and a fancy new background.  I hope I can get somewhere near a finished status before the dare ends.

Slept in far too long, but I thought I’d post this, my labors from last night.

Nothing much to speak of yet, you can walk around the surface, and the other ‘planet’ orbits the larger one.

Today I’m hoping to add enemies and npcs, hurah!

Getting ready to go!

Hurah, my favorite theme concept!  I’ll be using Lua LOVE and GIMP.  This is my first competition, I’m not quite sure what to expect, but I can tell it will be a fun challenge.  I’ll be recording using chronolapse, hopefully I’ll be able to look back at the process and see how to improve!
