Uh, crap!!!!!

Well, I did not expect it to take 3 hours to make the dialogue box… The way Haxe handles 2D arrays… For loops… Is just a little crazy. I may just shoot for the Jam… Me and my team of me…

So, here is what I got… Just notice the blocks look like a Fez wanna be. lol¬†WhatIGotDone

HELP!:

The tiles look too small. And I don’t know how to re-scale them(Without just going into my photo editor and¬†scaling¬†them). I looked over in the Doc… But nothing. I really want to have the ability to change the camera on the z axis but that is not possible with FlashPunks functionality… If anyone has done this, or know a way. PLEASE HELP!

Now, I’m known for not completing my games, however, not trying never got me anywhere. I will be live streaming.

Also, I think I may change things up a bit. Haxe + HaxePunk? Or Lua + Love2D? I don’t know.

So, made a simple map maker, plus player spawn, mob spawn… Working on¬†collision¬†detection; my worst enemy! lol

Kongregate API for Love2D? WHAT!

Ok,

 

So, I kinda did it… Almost all the functions are really buggy… That is why I’m sharing it so people can help fix it! It needs a server to host the application because it’s Love2D WebPlayer. The game is displayed by index.html. Just past all your lua files in the in the root directory> Upload to server> use IFRAM and enter server url > Test on¬†Kongregate website> ???? > Win! lol

 

Side Note: Only the game and functions will work if you have uploaded to¬†Kongregate. Don’t worry you don’t have to publish it, you can test it and all that good stuff.

I Need Help With The Kongregate API!

So, I’m right now trying to get the¬†Kongregate API to work with Love2DWebPlayer. I have the base code down. Kongregate provides a Javascript API. If you want a warm up coding and have worked with the¬†Kongregate Javascript API, add me on Skype NateAGeek. I don’t want people using love2D not to be unable to enter the¬†Kongregate Compo!

Hi,

I have done two other Ludum Dare. However, I never finished them (stupid¬†collision¬†detection) or, yeah¬†never finished them. So, I will again try to do a Ludum Dare! I may use C++, OpenGL, and SDL; for my project. Or I may use Lua with Love2D… Also, I may stream when I have something to show(http://www.twitch.tv/nateageek). Will update my twitter @NateAGeek as well. Wish everyone luck!
