Hiya! Just a last minute post because I’ve cleared my schedule enough to do the LDJam! HYPE!
I’ll probably be using Unreal as my primary development tool, as well as
Substance Painter
Substance Designer
Visual Studio Community 2015
Depending on the theme, the weather, and Random.value, I may or may not go ahead and roll my own engine.

Heya people! I’m gonna enter solo for the second time ever! Not really sure what tools I’ll be using yet, but probably Unity 5 and Photoshop for the most part, alongside whatever assets I can get for free for artwork and music.

Sorry for the slightly late post! I’m in, going in with my first foray into Unreal 4.7.2, alongside Photoshop, Sprite Delight, and 3DS MAX.

Well, I finished my entry! I’m extremely pleased with the result, other than the slightly weird controls(I’ll upload a post compo that fixes those), and it ended up being way more fun(to me) that I thought it would!

Hello again people! I’m made a ton of progress! I’ve recoded my voxel engine for the shooter I’m making out of it, made some beautiful effetcs, wrote custom HDR bloom shaders, wrote a trail renderer and finished my player’s controls and death, as well as the majority of enemy  code. Ohhh, you want screenshots? Here ya go:

Hi people! I’m going to enter the LD again! </redundant> THis time I’m going to do voxel… something, probably a space shooter if the theme allows it. I’ll be working with Unity and probably will enter the Compo because I’d rather not release my voxel engine’s source to the public quite yet.  I have high hopes for this compo and can’t wait to get a-codin’! Just be wary, my game will probably be a bit heavy on the graphics side, and in fact will probably be a bit of a tribute to J.J. Abrams, with more than enough lens flares and bloom to go around.

Hello people! I guess it’s about time I posted about what I’m doing this LD… So, this time around I’ll be working in a team, I’ll be doing the programming and stuff like that, and a friend will be doing art and models. So, here’s a list of tools I’ll (probably) be using:

  • Unity Pro 4.1   – Definitely using this, since I’m most experienced in it.
  • Audacity           – Because why not?
  • Blender              – Only modelling application I have access to, other than…
  • Sculptris            – I’ll use this for potatoes and other such madness.
  • Potatoes            – Most inspiring vegetable/tuber/root ever!
  • Fries                    – These are almost as good as potatoes. Maybe better. They do however advocate potato abuse.
  • Awesomeness – Only slightly paled by the glowing radiance that is Chuck Norris’s awesomeness.

No idea what else I’ll be using, but there’ll be a couple more I’m sure 😀

We plan to include potatoes in our game. A lot of potatoes.

Since we’re using Unity 4.x, we will definitely include a Linux build, as well as the usual Mac OSX and Windows. If possible, Android will follow.

Hello Ludum Dares! I plan to enter the Ludum Dare for the first time! I’ll be using Unity with several extensions (all from the asset store), as well as Paint.net, Blender, LMMS, and a good bit of caffeine. My game will more than likely be 3D, and hopefully will have very much awesome, as well as good graphics.  Anyways, wish me luck!
