20 minutes before submission ends and I finally finished a playable game from scratch. It show what gameplay I was going for at the very least I was able to try out a gameplay I haven’t done yet before.

the game seems to be coming along nicely. I would hope so. Minus the sleep it’s less than 24 hours left.


Development Plan status:

– Asset creation [completed]

– code up basic platformer mechanics [complete]

– additional gameplay mechanics – make it challenging [ongoing]

– levels and bad guys [ongoing]

Game Title: /bɪˈniːθ/ /ðə/ /ˈsəːfɪs/ – Beneath The Surface

Game Idea: A one screen platformer beneath the surface from point A to point B to finish a Level.

Code Base Declaration . . .

This is my first time at LD and I won’t be brainstorming my ideas yet until the theme is up but as per the rules of the LD COMPO, I’ll declare here the code base that I’m going to be using.

As I’m using unity, If I decide to go for an FPS I’ll be using Unity Asset FPS code base. Although I have a code base for FPS myself on my Github account. I will be grabbing scripts from my Github account and I’ll be re-scripting some of it to fit the purposes of what game I might have in mind.

Hi guys,

I’m joining this weekend LD29 Solo. This is my first time joining a Ludum Dare competition. This is the account I’m using so update will be here. I am no artist but everything will work out. Let’s have fun making a 48 hour game guys!

Tools I’ll be using are:

Engine: Unity

Graphics: Photoshop

Sound: Bfxr, Audacity

I still have no idea what to do for a BGM or if I’m going to have one but its going to be fine.
