I’m in again. This will be my second LD. My last one started out alright, but I ended up overdoing my art department (I’m no artist – so it consumed way too much time). So this year, I’m just aiming to see if I can make a smaller game, with passable art. And actually finish it, aha.

 

Using Eclipse with libGDX and GraphicsGale this time

Any unattached artists out there?

So my game’s going fairly well. I happy with the base mechanics, and it’s simple! However I really can’t work out an art design that I’m happy with, so I was just wondering if there were any artists out their amongst the Ludum Darers, who aren’t attached to any current projects, who would be happy to join up and help redo my ‘art’ 😛

Advancing past the Mini Ludum Dares

This will be my first proper Ludum Dare; I’ve participated in a number of the mini ludum dares, but was never free for the actual Ludum Dare. This year, I’ll be free on that date, so I’ll most likely be able to do it :)
I tried to do the #indiesvsgamers – but I didn’t time it as well as I could, and had an unplayable game by the end (but I’m still working on it, so I’m enjoying making a proper game for once).

For the Ludum Dare, I’ll be using libGDX, in Eclipse – or maybe GameMaker if I don’t think I’ll have enough time.
