Unfortunately LD falls on my wife’s birthday this time around. However, I’ll be participating as much as I can.

Hey y’all!
Check out my October Challenge entry. I thought about cleaning up a previous project and submitting it, but instead I decided to take a much needed break from work and treat the October challenge like a 72 hour jam.
Slide3 is a match three game inspired by the rubik’s cube sitting on my desk. I’ve enjoyed playing it, so hopefully other people will enjoy it as well. Unfortunately, real life has called and I don’t have time to work on it any more. I think that the learning curve may be a little too high. Maybe I’ll get some time to tweak it in a month or so.
I’m in.
Unity 5
Gimp
Wolfram Tones/abundant-music
I’m so happy that there is going to be an LD this month. I was really worried when a couple of months ago, since the August LD is the only one where I am not overwhelmingly busy. Of course, being busy usually doesn’t stop me from participating, but it will be nice to have a relaxing weekend for making a game. Thanks a lot to those of you who are putting in the effort to run this LD! You all are awesome people. Hopefully POV gets the rest he needs so that December will be the best LD so far.
Once again I will take a weekend off from doing the work I am supposed to do and instead make a game. I’ve been looking forward to this weekend for the last month.
I’ll be using:
Unity
Audacity/abundant-music.com
pixlr
My goal ever since I started participating has been to get in the top 100 overall in the compo. Last LD was the closest I’ve gotten, hopefully this time I’ll make it.
Woohoo!!!!
This LD is the first time I have gotten to 100 reviews. When this LD rolled around I decided I was going to go all out reviewing other people’s games, and so this time has been the most fun LD I’ve participated in.
If you haven’t already checked out my game, you definitely should.
I’m planning on building on it while I’m on break. I will post back here with my progress in the future.
I forgot to post right after I was done like I’d planned, but here is my entry:
I hope you all enjoy it. This is the first LD game I’ve made that I am actually proud of and enjoy playing.
I’ll finish working tomorrow afternoon, and then it will be LD for the whole weekend.
Tools:
Unity, pixlr, abundant-music
I’ll be participating for the 4th time. My plan is to do the jam with my wife, but she plans to wait and see what the theme is. If she doesn’t like the theme, then I’ll be doing the compo.
Tools:
Unity
Abundant Music / Audacity
pixlr
I’ve been too busy to participate in the last two LDs, so I can’t wait for this weekend.
Tools:
Unity 5, pixlr, abundant-music, brain, alcohol, hot pockets
Just submitted my October Challenge entry. I hope you all enjoy it. Unfortunately I’ve been spending too much time working on games recently and not enough time working on grad school stuff, so I have more I want to do on this project.
I hope you all enjoy it.

Just finished making my entry. It is a puzzle game meant to teach formal logic in a visual and fun way. If only I had had more time to make more levels and features. Oh well, time to go study for my logic final
Well, this will only be my second time doing LD, but both times have come at the end of the semester when I’m busiest.
I’ve been working hard for the last two weeks so that I’ll have time to work really hard this weekend, fortunately the work this weekend will be a lot more fun than writing papers and grading.
Engine: Unity
Art: pixlr.com
Music/Sound: Garageband and audacity
Well, I didn’t end up getting much time this weekend (in between studying for exams and grading students’ exams) to work on my game, but I’ve finished it.
My game is an Oregon Trail-esque game that presents the player with a tough moral dilemma.
My drawing ability hasn’t really improved since I was a kindergartener, and I am pretty much tone deaf, but I gave art and music a try.
I hope you all enjoy it.
Well … depending on the theme. If I have an idea I think I can get done in between studying for a final and finishing a paper, then I’m definitely in. Stupid grad school taking up so much of my time.
If I do join, then I will be using:
Languages: javascript and php
IDE: ShiftEdit
Art: pixlr.com
Sound: probably garageband
