Mini-LD 36: Day II

The goal for this evening was to get the player movement done and get started on the enemy AI. I managed to get the player movement down, the getting started on AI part not so much.

Reggie got finished with most of the tiles for the games. I put together a quick little map with them (image above). Not sure if I will have time to work on the game tomorrow night. But hopefully I will manage to get started a bit on the AI.

Managed to get level loading up and working.

Also got a simple little fsm up and running, a camera and an input handler. So overall it’s been a pretty good evening. Tomorrows goal: Get the player up and running and get started on the enemy AI.

I’m totally in. Managed to finish my game last time so I can’t do worse this time.

I will be using XNA 4.0.

And Milkytracker for music.

Aww yeah, lets do this again. Hopefully, I will be able to finish this time.

I will be working in XNA 4.0.

Might use the Mercury Particle Engine (http://mpe.codeplex.com/ )

This will be my first ludum dare and I’m sure it will be rad. I will be making my entry in XNA (3.1), for graphic I will use Photoshop and for sounds sxfr.

I’m sure it will be fun and I’m looking forward to it.



Oh yeah, forgot, I will probably be using http://mpe.codeplex.com/ too for all my particle needs.
