Here is a gameplay video (*spoilers*):

If you want to try it out yourself, there is a fancy new windows build courtesy of Wallacoloo that you can try out:

Please give it a try, and don’t forget to leave a comment if you have a moment!

I kind of like how this game concept turned out, so perhaps I will try developing it post competition into something more substantial.  For now though, it is time to sleep!

Help! I’m trapped in a 2D compact Riemannian manifold!

…which is the title for the post.  Here is an early test video, all the major physics and engine components are finished:

I’ve teamed up with my friend Matt, who put in some code for sound and menus.  Still on track for the Jam deadline, but much more work left to do!

Aww yeah! Solid model isosurface extraction up and running

Ok!  Procedural mesh generation is go (for now anyway).  Here is a screenshot:

My plan right now is to try making a 3D marble maze type game.  You will basically rotate the world, monkey ball style, to help guide a ball/ragdoll out of a pinball like maze of contraptions and danger.  Since I lack any decent art production pipeline, all the data is going to be procedurally generated.  I also set up a github repository in case anyone wants to take a look at the code:

Let’s give this a try
