We’ve added quite alot of features compared to yesterday. To many for me to list off my head. One of my (Member1221s) great achievements is the graphing system that uses Texture2D’s to render.

While i have been working on some code to display graphs for scores. Percy has gotten the NPCs to now send posts. This game is beginning slowly to take shape. One more thing is that these messages are customizable via txt files. C:

[Team Danecan] Tweet system somewhat there now

So yeah, Percy is back from being stuck in hell. So he came back to code.

We got the tweet boxes to show up. Now we just need to texture them, and add more components to them.

After that. we’ll be adding the actual game part. Even though tweets are a large part of the game. 😛

So, the last 3 hours i have been coding buttons n stuff.

They way i am handling buttons is by storing an Action variable. which is being set by the GUI host.

How it looks binding buttons:
statusbar.GetButton("HomeButton").SetButtonPressCall(() => HomeButton());

So yeah, a little other approach on making Button functionality. Spares me from creating tons of extended versions for each button.

 

I am still missing the main part of the game. Which is going to be in the black area underneath the bar. Though Shramper is not back yet. And i suck at drawing. So i will wait for him. Meanwhile i can fix bugs and make other controls which can be useful.

Looks a bit better now. The save button atm. Forcefully quits the game

So, our game: “Twotler: A game about social media fame” is getting a little step forward. Our mockup engine has been a little in the way. But the worst part is over now. I just need to add all the GUI Elements into the engine and then this window.

How the game looks so far, Yeah. Not alot of gameplay mechanics yet. going to be the next stuff up! :3

Me (Coder, Music, and SFX) and some friends (Percy (Coder), Shramper (Artist), Davifu1000(Level Designer, and planning, n stuff)) Will be participating in the Jam! :3

– The game will be made in our own little 2 day mockup MonoGame based engine.
– Shramper will be using Photoshop and Illustrator for art.
– And I will be using Ableton Live for audio work.
