Again, I will try to come up with something for this LD. I’ll take part in the compo using:

Code: Java + libgdx

2d/3d: Paint.net, Pixexix, Sketchbook Pro, Milkshape 3d, Spine, Radiant

Sound: Wavosaur, Ableton Live

Misc: git (github)

If I decide to use a basecode it will be available as such on my github.

If I can’t come up with an idea I’m still up for the jam (if anyone’s intersted)

Speciality: Audio-guy (can do code, pixelart and maps as well)

Timezone: Europe, GMT+1

Country: Austria

I’m in again

Trying to get a serious entry done this time (depending on the theme).

I might be using Java with libgdx, Wavosaur, Ableton, Sketchbook, Milkshape, Pixexix, SunVox, Paint.Net, GtkRadiant, Graphics Gale.

If I can’t get something serious together I might be doing something for my VIC-20 (using cc65)  or my Genesis (using SGDK)

PS: Please get a fresh fun-theme next time, potato-jokes are outdated.

regarding the Sourcecode requirement.

This post is just a collection of snippets copied from the “Rules and Guidelines”-Section of Ludum Dare ( http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/rules/ ) which all of the participants should have read:

4. All publicly available libraries and middleware are allowed.

6. Source code must be included.

This does not mean open source, just included source.  You retain all rights to it.  If you do not wish to provide source, consider entering the Jam instead.

Base code and personal code libraries are allowed, but should be declared and shared with the community prior to beginning your entry. To do this, make a blog post.

Please, gamedev-gods, let me do this

I’m in, atleast I’d love to do the compo, but there are some things coming up this weekend so I might be tempted to drop out.

I would use my default toolset containing:

  • Java + LibGdx (Code)
  • Ableton Live (Music)
  • Sketchbook / Graphics Gale (Graphics)
  • Pixexix + Milkshape (3D)
  • Wavosaur (Sound)

See you at the competition, madpew

Keeping it short:

1) Joining LudumDare #24 (compo)
2) Using libGDX (Java), Ableton Live, Paint.Net/MyPaint, Milkshape 3d, Pixexix, Wavosaur
3) ???
4) Profit

Cya at the compo.

Will be hosting the Dropout-Party on irc if anyone wants to attend 😀 (#lddropouts)

I’m in.

Yep, I’m in. This time I’ll try to use the following setup:

Code: Java and libGDX (uses LWJGL)

Graphics: Paint.Net, GraphicsGale and Inkscape

SoundFX: bfxr/sfxr or my mic if I need some fancy sounds.

Music: Sunvox or Ableton

We’ll meet in IRC, if you happen to be there.

Not sure if I will participate as I only got my netbook for the weekend and some events to attend.

I will use Flashpunk, Paint.Net, GraphicsGale, Bsfxr/Sfxr, and SunVox or ModPlugTracker for music.

Good luck, have fun and cya on the weekend.

Hey kids, what time is it?

LD20’s coming up and once again I’ll do my part.
Tell your friends so we can beat both the contestant-count as well as the finished-games record.

I for my part will be using Flashpunk for the code,
Ableton Live and/or OpenMPT for the Music,
Wavosaur and bfxr for Sounds
and Paint.Net + GraphicsGale for (you might have guessed it) graphics.
I might be using some prepeared AS3-classes for Networking. Depending on the game/theme and if I’m able to finish them before LD20 starts.

Finally, I managed to get myself to try developing Flash-games (instead of Winforms/GDI+/DHTML).

The result:

Deskshots already?

Is it that time already?

Didn’t really change since LD18 but I think it would be rude not to take a new picture.

Lets do this.

Hey guys. I’m joining as well. No deskshot this time (maybe later, but my desk didn’t change that much).
I’ll be using the same setup as last LD:

code: Visual Studio (C#)
gfx: Paint.Net & GraphicsGale,
sfx: Live 8, Wavosaur maybe sfxr for placeholders

I haven’t decided yet if I’ll start from scratch or use my basecode (pewWorks).

Looking forward to all the submissions. have fun everyone and cya later.

yep, I finally managed to finish my game.

I had a hard time running out of beer, cigarettes and finally food. I dunno if I got the theme right.

Hacking computers to use them as a weapon against other computers. kinda cheap 😛
