Hey guys,
we’d like to give you all a little update and a huge thank you for the awesome 72 hours we had during Ludum Dare 35! The topic wasn’t not easy to handle for us at first, to be honest. We struggled for quite some time, before we found our path but as we had to build that path on the fly, we just decided to let that flow into the game and create a racer, where you can do just this: build a track on the fly, why someone else has to race it simultaneously!
So we eventually decided to approach the shapeshifting-topic from a slightly different angle and allow the players to transform the tracks they are racing on, rather than transform the vehicle itself. After reaching that milestone our development-truck gained momentum pretty fast. We were surprised how fun it was, to play even the prototype and were super happy with all the positive feedback! We decided to stream the development process on twitch, which turned out to be golden. We got a lot of beta testers during the development who gave us valuable feedback. Every build was straight tested by around 20-30 people. We took their concerns and ideas serious and tried to implement the ideas and fix the reported bugs instantly.
So to make a long story short. Check out our new Game “Can’t Drive This: Because The **** Road Is Still Under Construction”
There is a online Ranklist, so make sure to add your Driver and Cosntruction name.
We also made a greeenlight entry and hope we get positive feedback from the steam community as well. We will definitively develop more features and – most importantly – an online coop mode for you. To keep yourself updated follow us on Twitter and Facebook, if you like. Thank you all again for your great support and special thanks to Mike for organizing Ludum Dare 35.
Have fun playing our other entries. Greets to all LD35 Devs

A little appetizer:
Thanks guys for playing and your support!
ChromaGun was our entry to Ludum Dare #32. The concept’s inception came late at night after a few (ahem) beers. The theme was “an unconventional weapon”, and we decided to go with color. The player’s objective is to paint walls and enemies with the “ChromaGun”. Enemies are attracted to walls of the same color and float towards them. This core mechanic, paired with elements such as button-triggered doors, deadly electrified tiles and particle grids which only allow bullets to pass through, created some seriously entertaining gameplay, even in the early stages of development.
We are currently working on an iOS & Android-Version of our #ChromaGun!
