I just put here gif with few shots from my LD32 game. Click it if you want to play short story-driven game and explore mystery planet to find out why you are the monster.
Most weird game on this jam. Maybe it doesn’t fit the theme, but it totally fun to play. And yes, you can shave the baby.
If you like The Stanly Parable you will like this game too.
This game is a good example of work with narrative. Technically this is a mini-golf simulator. But this is golf with story and surprises.
Well done game about murdering and preventing crimes. Pretty humorous.
I can’t say that it’s fun game with super action gameplay, but it’s have something to catch me.
This game very similiar to mine. Flying on a high speed and avoiding obstacles. Absolutely no-brainer, only reaction and beat of the music.
I can’t belive that such graphic can be achievable on Unity during 48 hours of compo Entry. Also, this game has humor and good gameplay mechanics, when you use your childs as weapon.
And, of course, my own game. Unfortunately, there are no humor and gags, but it still playable. Especially, when you are in the meditation mood.
Hi! Check my time-lapse video of making my game on Compo. Coding, assembling UI in Unity, modeling in Blender and many playtests.
Play the game – HERE
Hi! Let me introduce my game to you. It doesn’t contain many features and doesn’t tries to impress you with extra fresh mechanic. But it sorta game that I was always want to play to rest. Just simple controls, obvious gameplay and thoroughly polished to have robust style and flow gameplay. I really enjoyed playing my own game, what is a big rarity. Because usually when you make a game you know all the tricks and game has no challange for you. This case in another. Because some magic/random generator. Okay, enough words. I will post my post-mortem later. Because I don’t want to spoil now what you will see in the end and what is unconventional there.
This is my first participation in Ludum Dare. I came here with no idea what’s going on and what I need to do. And now I have 124 votes, 88 comments (all positive), mention in two top-lists, 4 video reviews (this kid broke my heart). I’m so touched and motivated to continue to work on my game.
Also I update the postmortem of “Fill the bar“. By the help of a community I fix lot of mistakes. Click on image below to start reading.
As you may know, for this LD Robert Del Naja, member of Massive Attack, provided an entire CD of unreleased music to use in Jam games. How do you use this gift? Share your game or anything else where you use this music.
For example, I was participate in Compo and can’t use any assets in my game “Fill the bar”, so I used this tracks for timelapse video.
Hi, everyone! Now it’s my time to show you postmortem of my compo entry “Fill the bar“. There are many details, thoughts, screenshots, useful links and other stuff. Click below to start reading.
There you can read how to:
And watch it all on timelapse video.
Let me introduce my game. I named it “Fill the bar”, because filling the bar is all gameplay that I did. Two days of hard work to make one button and two progress bars. You can check my timelapse video, but don’t watch until you play the game. There are some spoilers. Ouch! Yes, I have something to spoil.
I know that there lot of games around and you don’t have time to play a lot. Good news! There are web version with 5-10 min of complete narrative experience. But if you will you can play as long as you want.
