Ma Mini Slim – Playable Build

So this is my game for the jam so far…. not perfect and art is a bit sucky, but it plays ok I think.

Basically my take on minimalism is minimalistic user feedback, which is why the robot thing, Ma Mini Slim, fades out as you speed up.

Needs:

  • Sound
  • Good Graphics
  • An end game / game over screen
  • Lots of bits

Mucking about learning how shaders work in Unity, when you don’t have much time to spare. Looks pretty dull, doesn’t it?

A Concept?

So I think I have a concept. I think it’s going to be hard. Brutally so.

Right now every thing is white, but that’s cheating a bit with regards to the theme, but the minimalism part comes with regards to the visual player feedback…. cutting down on that from what we’re used to makes for a strong challenge.
