I just submitted my first Ludum Dare entry! Last time I got caught up with technical issues, but I managed to chug through it all this time! I had a blast doing all of it, despite getting about 7 hours of sleep in total! Now I can’t wait for LD32 to come around!

Just submitted my first finished game!
Seven hours gone, art assets done
Got most of the major art assets completed and compiled them into a render of what the final output will look similar to. The idea of my game is that you are space-guy on a space-ship, and you’ve gotta repair your space-engine while your space-ship is shot at by space-baddies.
Basically you’ll click on anything that breaks with the appropriate tool until the engine is ready to go into hyperspace / warp speed / jump / favorite science lingo here. The situation will get more and more intense the closer you are to completion, obviously.
Despite there being a door, the game is limited to your view of the engine room. Off I go programming now!
In we go!
LD30 was my first Ludum Dare and I had a lot of fun with it. Even though my project got hung up on a technical issue and didn’t make it to completion, I have high hopes for this round.
I’ll be using:
Best of luck to everyone who’s participating!
