  • New Sound Effects.
  • Fixed Ground blocks not placing on certain circumstances.
  • Improved Performance.
  • Fixed Pixel Bleeding.
  • Fixed GUI wasn’t resolution independent.
  • Items hold now don’t interact with the level until placed.

I couldn’t make it for the compo, as all my assets are still placeholders (I didn’t make the art.. so..), BUT! the game is playable and you can test it here:

PD: It’s impossible to last more than a minute… I messed up with the hero spawn timer, but tomorrow I’ll fix it!

Boss Level is already looking great (and is really fun to play :) )

Now I’ll be adding more “items” to place, like different kinds of blocks etc.. Let’s see how it looks in the next few hours. I’ll keep you updated!

Thanks to the Unity Pro Trial from Ludum Dare, I can build “Boss Level” for Android :)

Hi all!

I’m David and this is my first Ludum Dare. I have been hoping of prototyping a Platformer + Tower Defense game since the day I saw the Boss Monster board game at Kickstarter, so the theme of this Ludum Dare is perfect por it :)

I started really late as today was my bachelor’s degree ceremony (yay!) and I was all day celebrating with my classmates and family…

Anyway, here’s what I have in 2h of programming. It isn’t much but at least it’s working :)

I’m using Unity for the development, and Oryx tileset for graphics. I’ll put the rest of the assets later if I manage to advance a bit further.
