I’m dropping out of Ludum Dare 37. There’s too much stuff going on at home, in life, etc. I don’t have time to finish this, and my game was too ambitious to make with the tools I was using. However, I did manage to get something which I may work on throughout the week and finish.

It’s been ~1.5 days, and this is all I’ve come up with. A lot of what is seen on screen doesn’t even function yet, it’s just there.

I’m making a sort of ‘improve the room’ game, and I finally got the art done for the most basic room. Both closed boxes are tables and chairs, and the stove has a little bit of storage in it. Mostly for plates, cups, etc.Room Template

I’ve been at school all day, so I have to use these last 3 hours to do map editing and refining. As well as Sound Effects.. Hope I can make this work!

Got a small engine built in Java, all that’s left is to implement lighting and I can begin adding content. Making a sandbox style game where you never advance past simple mud huts
