Got a bit side tracked with particles, everyone loves particles Will have to concentrate on gameplay tomorrow. Might start with the menus, don’t want to have to rush those at the end.

Taking part in the competition this year. Last took part 2 years ago! I’m going for a asteroidsy sort of game this year, where you destroy parts of asteroids in layers. (What’s below the surface??)
Here’s what I’ve got so far:
This is what I’ve got up to this morning. I’m making my game with LOVE2D, it’s a platformer, yeah .. I think it’s something I can finish in two days.
It’s been pretty forgiving so far, physics are using the built in LOVE2D physics, Advanced-Tiled-Loader to load and render the tiles, and Tiled Map Editor to draw the tiles with.
I’m rendering it to a Canvas to get doubleres, it should also mean I can add some fancy effects at the end using PixelEffect if I have time.
The tiny world theme should come out in the story, basically you’re on a tiny world next to a big one.
