Dead Code: Changing file hosts

Welp. Looks like we hit the bandwidth limit on dropbox. We feel the love. <3 So we have changed our file locations to MEGA as they are much more forgiving bandwidth wise.

In return, have a glamour shot of our antagonist, Robot George. (Robot Kyle’s bigger, badder, older brother with a criminal record.)

Dead Code Ports to OSX and Linux now available!

After we barely finished yesterday at 8pm, I forgot to compile OSX and Linux builds. We have them now! Fret not, for no bugs were fixed; you can still teleport out of the level, get catapulted by certain doors, and smooth criminal your way around the level. (Kudos if you figure out how to activate these glitches.)

When we originally compiled, we forgot to set the texture size, so it was a whopping 4k resolution and 500MB game size. Took us a minute to figure out why Dropbox was balking at the file. We compressed everything down to 1k last night before uploading, but didn’t take another screenshot of the game. The title screen on our game page is using the 4k textures. Below is an in-game shot with the 1k textures. Not too bad. It also helps that the game runs at 80FPS and not 20FPS. 😉
