I’m in for the third time. 😀

Ludum Dare is always a good time for me to experiment with new stuff. Even though most of the time I don’t make an incredible game, I always learn a lot of new things.

Getting my workspace ready both virtually and physically.

I’ll use :

  • Game Engine : Game Maker Studio
  • Graphics : Photoshop CS6
  • Music : Ableton Live 9.2 & Cool Edit Pro 2.0
  • Drink / Fuel : Coca-Cola



I don’t know where I’m going…

I don’t even know where I’m going with my game anymore.
I got a working general mechanic now but I don’t know what gameplay I can make with it. :c
I think the game is not fun enough… It lacks something. If you guys have ideas, let me know.

Basically, you’re controlling a “molecule” around in space and the goal is to become the biggest by absorbing other smaller molecules.
However be cautious of the other bigger molecules as they can absorb you.

I want so bad to be in… but I have lots of work to do though. :c

I’ll try everything to do it.
If I manage to make it, I shall use these tools:

  • Engine : Game Maker Studio Professional
  • Art : Photoshop CS6
  • Level Design : GM built-in tools
  • Sound FX : jfxr
  • Music : Ableton Live 9.0 & Cool Edit Pro 2.0
  • Timelapse : Chronolapse
  • Food and drink : Coca-Cola and chips.


First time participating

This is going to be the first time for me participating at this event. (I finally can)
I’m very excited. :) I’ve done similar competition in the past.

I’m a french guy from Québec, Ca.
I’m going to try and develop a game for android / OUYA. (Never done that)

What I’ll be using (haven’t decided yet if I’ll use Game maker or Unity):
Language: GML or Javascript
Engine: GMK or Unity

Compiler: Game Maker Studio or Unity 4
GFX: Photoshop,
Music: Ableton Live & Cool Edit Pro
