About Jet Spy Dragon

I'm from Argentina. I'll love to make games, write a story and bring it to life with sounds, music, graphics and challenging things happening in the screen. And, in the process, would not be bad to make some bucks :D
I'm use primary Game Maker Studio:HTML5, Fruity Loops and Gimp... but I'm not very good in none of it.
Last, but not least, my english suck, I know... I hope in some time i'll get better in that too.

Or at least I’ll try.

This time with:

  • Game Maker Studio
  • FL Studio
  • Adobe CC (if some special graphics ar needed)
  • Spriter Pro (if needed)

Good luck… to me! And the rest of you, of course 😉

Yes… this is more for a post-morten, but I think that i have spend to much time “learning” the tools… anyway, I give my best.

This are some screenshots. So far it looks… bored, but… it is what it is 😀

The thing is that: “Cuadrada is a square world with square people. Some day a circle show up and everybody attacks him because… In a square land a circle it’s a MONSTER!!! A Monster in Cuadrada.”.

It’s something, right? jejeje… I better keep working!

I’ll be using javascript. I’ll try with just plain javascript but if my idea is very complex i’ll use Phaser (but it’s a jam, I need to stick to “SIMPLE”).

For the music (if I add some) i’ll use Music Creator 7. And Gimp/Inkscape for the art.

Good luck everyone!!!

An eternal question… and yet stupid?

Hi there!! I want to move to 3d development and I see two engines that looks pretty good.

Blender Game Engine: Not only looks good but it’s free, so looks excelent. The problem is i don’t see anyone one using it… anyone know why is that? It’s slow? It’s worst that it looks?

Unity3D: Looks fantastic… but the commercial version it’s really expensive for an indie developer (1500 dollars). So, did you think that you could do a decent game with the free version?

Any other suggestions?

Thanxs in advance.

Hi! Everybody!!

Hello, Im Jet Spy Dragon and I’m very excited to participate in the next LudumDare. I’m actually working on Game Maker Studio:HTML5. I’m not very good on drawing, but I love to make music and write stories. In the end, I’m very “hobbiest” in everything so I hope to get better and better with every challenge.

Let’s rock!!!!!!
