Hi, I'm a game developer from, UK, Essex.
I really enjoy programming, it's actually one of my favourite pass-times. I mainly develop in Unity3d.
I also stream game development and just playing games I guess. My usual channel is www.twitch.tv/jellycakes1

So the 48-hour compo is over and I had a lot of fun making my game. So now I’m going to be playing a load of your games on Livestream.
Come and hop in if you want to watch, maybe suggest your game, whatever!

Well I finally finished my first LD. That was intense and I feel like throwing up, but nonetheless pleased.
If you get the chance, go play it or something: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-26/?action=preview&uid=13474
So my original concept for my game was way too ambitious to complete before competitions end so I’ve decided to just make it a minimalist shooter. Turns out I enjoy doing this alot more but unfortunately I didn’t put a spawn cap on the amount of enemies yet.. so the result is:

Just working on some ways to relay information to the player about the current challenge without too much detail, so I came up with HINTCUBE. Don’t ask I am very tired.
About to dive into the mechanics of one of the challenges which is collecting items a cannon fires at you.

Got a little bit further this time. Have scripted the transition from the challenge select room to the challenge itself. I’ll probably make a start on the challenge switching environments very soon. At the moment I’m aiming on finishing the core mechanics and then I’m going to polish it like crazy.

Well I’ve only just got a few design bits down in Unity at the moment but I’m slowly working towards some actual gameplay features…eventually…
I’m going for a game that switches you in and out of differently themed challenges. Each challenge is simple but your only way to interact is with the left mouse button.
Every time the challenge switches, hopefully so does the function of the left mouse button according to the challenge. Not quite the interpretation of minimalism I would like but hey, it works for me.

Basically got my idea after 2 hours of tearing my face off trying to find an idea so i’m just going with a simple interpretation.
