This was the second time I participated. Last time I did the jam. This time I went all in for the compo and I present Nebular Worm (Think asteroids meets snake).

Seems people liked the control mechanics on my little game and I am considering expanding on it. Have a play (and rate if you like it), and let me know what you guys (or girls) think. I’d love getting some feedback (any kind :))
What went well:
- Been ages since I used GM last and I must say, it has improved a LOT. I could get things up and running very quickly
- Got decent amounts of sleep beforehand
- The idea sprung in place fairly quickly, so that left more time for design and coding.
- The compo is intense, but awesome fun.
What went not-so-well:
- I had no time to do background music. This is the first thing I’d need to remedy.
- Graphics take LOTS of time, so I had to settle with programmer art for most of the game.
- Wanted to get and HTML5 and full android port out, but the particles and blending I did in the game really slowed things down.
Hi all
Super excited to finally take part in my first Ludum Dare. Goal: Finish anything.
Any tips from the pros?
