Here is my final Compo Entry.

Of course I didn’t manage to “finish” it but I am quite satisfied.

So I haven’t posted any status yet.
Here is the first screen of my jump&run game with a little vampire running away from sunrise.
At this stage, I finished core mechanics and most of the graphics.
The main TODO is to make levels and balance/test them. And if there is time left, then I can think about adding the many features I threw out the window.

But FIRST, I need to get some sleep…

So it’s going to be a platformer jump&run time trial with AS3 and Flashpunk.
Its nothing spectacular but I need to keep it simple, since I tend to make it complex anyway. I had couple of other complex good ideas but not suited for LD in such short time.

I hope that I can keep it simple.

I am participating again.
Last LD I had a mate with whom I participated in the Jam.
Now its all me Solo Compo.

Using either:
– Unity
– Blender
– Flashdevelop AS3
– Flashpunk

– Paint.NET
– iNudge/sfxr

Hey guys,

I submitted my game as Compo yesterday and many of the features I originally planned were missing due to bad time management (my first time doing something like this).

So today I managed to spend some time to update the game here and there and decided to just update my submission to a Jam Entry.

There is still a major feature missing: the end of the game.

But here is my game.. Hope you enjoy it somehow/anyhow..

Hey guys.

Ok since I took way too long modeling/texturing assets, I will not be able to finish it in time. (~9h left)

I still need to make the player model, npc models and a castle.

Then I need to add some more game logic.. Also need a name ^.^

I wish I had time to model a goat for the center area…

Here is a screenshot update..


Will see if I can finish a playable version at deadline..

End of 1st day. 24h more to go!

Hey everyone.

I hope you are all having fun.

Just an update from my game. I didnt put any time on graphics yet, so the screenshot won’t tell/show much.
I’ve finished the npc AI and the combat system along with some mechanics.

The main goal of the game is to attack and consume npc’s that walk around and gain evilness by doing so. The more friendly they are, the more evilness you get. (It is easy to attack people that are rude to you, but harder to harm friendly people). Also being near to friendly people will hurt you.

I will get some sleep and then start with graphics tomorrow.
