I wasn’t planning on doing this ludum dare but after seeing the awesome theme I’m in. I currently have the lighting engine integrated and wall collision.

I am quite pleased with what I have gotten done so far, I have 3 types of towers that mostly work correctly :P. Also the evil snowmen correctly follow the path. Time for sleep.

So I ran into quite a few problems, the main one being left and right collision. However I have a temporary fix which is to make the world flat. Due to this being my first ludum dare and making rookie mistakes I’ve had to cut back on everything but the core functionality when it comes to gameplay. The end product will probably be a very short and basic game but I should at least have something to submit.

Currently have pixel maps importing into the game to make the two “connected worlds”. Have basic gravity and player movement with collision. Player can also pick up energy cells and place them on the beacons to power them which in turn activates a portal. I am pretty happy with my current progress.
