I’ve run into some reallife things saturday and started coding at this noon. And now I’m stuck at some random bug with half of the features not even started to implement. I noticed I haven’t posted anything this LD, so here’s a good bye, and a little screenshot. I’ll try to finish this later. Good luck to you all who’re still carrying on!

Wow I finally made it! I think I’ve been sitting and coding continuously for about 15 hours. I don’t even really know what am I doing now. It is almost a miracle that I didn’t encounter some mad bug in the end. Anyway I just uploaded the game and here’s some screen shots!

As you see it’s a basketball game. I’ve always thinking about making a basketball game and I think this time this game would fit well with the theme. And wish all of you guys good luck, I’m going to sleep now…

Ludum Dare is in fact a decent crunch simulator.

Still steps away from my release but I’m so sleepy and tired…

The game is here. It’s like a retro arcade game with a twisted approach to the theme “discovery”. I spent about 32 hours working on it. I’m so happy that I finally submitted it in time.

good parts:

  • game play is implemented as I expected.
  • I draw the set of sprites all by myself(I never draw so much before).

missing parts:

  • particle effects, score display with every hit.
  • more mob types.  It seems that time is never enough in LD.

Also congrats to everybody who submitted their games! We’d be busy rating games for some days.

I just noticed that this is my first post on LD :)
I’d go to bed (UTC+8) now and continue on this tomorrow. Hope I can finish this in the end.
