Hi again! In previous post I said that I’ll create a small framework for my self.

And here it is: https://bitbucket.org/horizonOffset/ultraminimal

Now it can:

  • Open a window and send basic input events
  • Load resources listed in external file
  • Do some baisc scene management
  • Log into external file

It will be finally finished tomorrow.

What will be done:

  • I wanna add collision detection and extend scene management
  • Add more input events like mouse moving e.t.c.
  • Optimize rendering by clipping invisible objects
  • Add text rendering

Sorry, but I don’t have enought time for documentaion (maybe tomorrow) and my english is not so good as I want. But this might be helpful. I hope so)

I’m in. Yeah.

I`m in. Again.

And here is my plan for the weekend:

  • Get lost in the eternal space
  • Go through event horizon
  • Stop existing
  • Create a game
  • Have fun

Create a game… Don`t forget to create a game this time… This is probably the hardest part of my plan but its fun anyway!
Now I’m writing small framework in python for pygame wich can perform basic scene management, collisions, animations, e.t.c.

UPD: Sorry for my broken english…

I`m in!

Hope I wont fail this time)

  • Language: Python or Java
  • IDE: Eclipse (Pydev for Python)
  • Libraries: Pygame (for Python) or LWJGL/Slick2D (for Java)
  • Music: Not sure… (maybe generative)
  • Graphics: Paint.NET (also maybe generative too…)

GL HF!
