While waiting for proper character model from our artist, I integrated Oculus Rift into our project as an additional display option.

Grayscale depth buffer world looks great in the Rift. It really makes the 3D effect pop out.

We are iterating on the art style and third person movement currently. Game already feels nice to wander around.

This is what we used as an inspiration.

My artist just woke up so maybe we’ll see a non programmer art soon. Fancier silhouettes!

We have a working player, simple enemy, great art and marvelous audio in the game after the first day of jamming.

Tomorrow it is a content day. We are aiming for world filled with paths and connections all around – Dark Souls style.


I’ll also try to get Oculus Rift DK2 support, but I don’t have Unity pro license on this computer so I need to see what I can do about that. 8]
