The¬†Mac build was not working for some people. I’ve uploaded a new version which should fix¬†it.

The Idea

I really wanted to make a game that uses data from other players experiences to fill the world. Started drawing for some dungeon crawler or tower defence or platformer based on this idea with absolutely no idea how it would work. As time would progress, more data would be stored online and the world would become less “alone”.

My work-in-progress library does not have any web/url stuff in and that would probably have been a pain to throw in quickly. I decided to give Flashpunk another try but progress has been slow and the deadline is really too soon.

I’ll probably fail to submit a game and just upload the big bad pixels for all to see.

Yeah, there is not much progress at all.

I don’t have a good pixel art program working on OS X (Lion), and I can’t figure out how to remove the magenta in Flashpunk. *Sigh*

I’m in, probably. First Ludum Dare. More than likely using FlashPunk. Hurrah, non-committal¬†writings!~
