I’m in once again for this LD 33!

It’s going to be my ninth time doing this game jam, and it’s *funny* how this theme turns out to be quite the same as the LD25’s. (You Are The Villain)

I already found it shitty at the time, though it was my first LD, and my feeling did’nt change much in about it!

I think I’ll make something about the repetition of things, cycles and loops, the impossibility of learning from mistakes and oblivion.

Those don’t exactly match the theme that came out, but nonetheless reflect on it and the Ludum dare itself.


I’ll be, as always sharing my workspace, food and drinks with my friends @simonchauvin, @Marcellus and @Annagavaldakedavra.

I’ll use Unity 5, and probably gimp, blender and LMMS for the sound.

I’ll also may use some of the C# utilities I gathered or wrote in this personal framework.

I much underestimated the time it would take to build a 3d space and I had to forget the compo, I’ll try to finish something for the jam tomorrow.

Hello LDers!

It’s been a long time and I’m really glad to participate to this jam again! (8th time already)

I’ll be, as always sharing my workspace, food and drink with my friends @simonchauvin, @Marcellus and @Annagavaldakedavra.

I’ll certainly use Unity 5, Gimp, Blender and LMMS.

I may also implement this perlin noise library shared by scrawk, as I’ve been playing with it these last few days.

Maybe, maybe, letting the keynoter suggest 10 themes for the participants to vote on would be better than proposing, slaughtering then selecting each time the exact same themes over and over ?

While writing this, We just learned the official theme but we drew a few more constraints for this session, and here is what came out :

LEVELLING (as core game mechanic) / INDIRECT CONTROLS (as controls obviously) / and ONLY TRIANGLES (as display limitation)

And we can now add the official one;  ENTIRE GAME ON ONE SCREEN …

Ok, we wanted hardcore, let’s get hardcore !

Once again, we’d enjoy to hear from you if you chose to pick additionnal constraints too !

Hi everybody !

We’re in once again (7th time already ?!) for the LD compo !

As always I will be sharing space, food and drinks with my good friends AnnaGavaldaKedavra, Simon and Marcellus in a ghastly mansion lost in the far suburbs of Paris.

We decided this session to spice things up by adding a few more constraints to this jam.

We’re going to randomly pick a genre, display and control restriction from a selected pool and mix them with the main LD theme.

We’ll tell you soon what came out and if you feel like it, we’d really enjoy to share this experience with you!

I’ve been waiting for this for 4 months and I’m definitely IN!  It’s gonna be my 6th time, and i’ll once again TRY to finish something…

We’re doing the compo separately but in the same house in france with my friends Simon Chauvin, Marcellus, and Anna Gavaldakedavra but also Claudia who’s working for her Thesis on a different subject, but sharing that awesome atmosphere!

I’ll be using Unity 3d, 3DS Max, Illustrator, Ableton Live, and Photoshop.
