Finally starting to get some palpable results! Have the enemy trajectories, they fire bullets, everything has hitboxes… still alot to go, hope I can finish in time :)

Playing around with some carrot flying trajectories atm. After, get them to shoot stuff. After, corn laser animation. Then implement it. Then some game logic. Bullethell logic will be easy. Some simple interface. 10 hours, totally not gonna end anything at all x)

Regardless if you still wanna see me making corn turn and carrots fly with Photoshop worthy graphics…

Spent 95% of the time drawing, or trying, pretty carrot enemies/corn Player.

I’ve been since yesterday really thinking about participating, even slept about 3 or 4 hours and woke up when the theme was released, but the theme gave me 0 ideas. So I just went back to playing games reading stuff and whatever, and then sleep. Woke up at 2PM, and had a random, stupid, crazy idea that might just be fun!

Aaaaaand so I’ve spent about 5 hours up to now simply drawing some art, because without art, I won’t bother doing a game. If I do it, I want it to atleast have a sort-of-decent look, not some stupid placeholder graphics all chewed-gum together. So yeah.

It’s gonna be a bullethell-ish sort of thing! :)

I want it to have very tight controls and all. Might go for the jam instead if I don’t gear near-finishing in time.

My background: have done several tiny projects and attempts at a Megaman X remake (it was going well but got bored), but never actually finished a game. Despite a simply pong which was actually fun, done on jMonkey.

Will be using some code I had as the base framework, and am using LibGDX.
