I’ve made “Stone Golem” and “Firestarter” forms. You get these forms from the vials which are somewhere in the level. Finally setup the controls for shapeshifting and attacking! Now I’m moving onto setting up level switching and actually making other levels!

Got the game idea pretty much worked out
I’ll have a go at the Ludum Dare 35
Tools
- Unity3D
- Visual Studio 2015
- PaintShop Pro
And if I get to the audio…
- FL Studio
- SFXR (maybe)
I’ve come up with a partial idea that hopefully I can turn into a game. Don’t want to say much about it until I actually can make something of it.
What a great Ludum Dare this was. The theme An Unconventional Weapon was a perfect theme. I might not end up finishing a game this time around though as I’ve been sleeping a lot and couldn’t think of anything to make until ~24 hours in. But the best of luck to the rest of yuhz!
As per usual
Game Engine – Unity 5
Sound – FL Studio
Coding – Visual C# 2015
Modelling – Blender (if I do a 3D game)
Images/Textures – PaintShop Pro X7
Ludum Dare 31 – Progress Update 2
My Ludum Dare 31 Progress
My plans for this game –
- GameĀ Type – Single Player Arms Race/Gun Game (One kill = Next weapon)
- Goal – Get the final weapon
For testing purposes I’ve added 3 weapons and 2 grenades. Also, once you die you have to refresh the page to restart.
I’m doin it.
Tools –
Game Engine
- Unity 5 (AAA looking Tower Defense game perhaps? trololololol)
Audio
- FL Studio
- Audacity (possibly)
Models
- Blender
Coding Language
- C#
This is the game I’m working on. It is about a slime who is very much a dreamer. He goes between his dream world and reality, gaining courage on the way.
I’ll be adding audio tomorrow.
Ludum Dare 30 Signing Up
The Themes aren’t looking too bad this time around, I may jump in again!

I’ll join in on Ludum Dare 29 if I’m not too sleepy and have a good idea of what I’m going to make.

Grenade Blast ‘Em – I’m calling it complete
Haven’t added music but with only an hour left, I’m not going to be able to create any music that won’t just completely ruin the experience. This Ludum Dare I’ve created a puzzle game that I never thought I could. It’s fun and has more than just a single puzzle which is usually the way it seems to go.
Inspiration
- Portal 1 and 2
Now to recuperate and put my brain back in place.
Grenade Blast ‘Em – Big Update
Added More Levels!
– Cubed Duck
– Catch Me
– Throw Me
and one last level, the Bonus level with one final grenade type.
Also added sounds for the grenade.
If I have enough time later I’ll make some music but at the moment I need a break!
Grenade Blast ‘Em – Even More Stuff!!!
Grenade Blast ‘Em – New stuff
I’ve added another level and on top of that I’ve redesigned a few things. The platform you stand on has changed and the levels will be built with them too (don’t worry, they’re all batched so the draw calls aren’t that bad). I’ve also added a portal-esque box around the player. It’s meant to look like an observatory room.
Struggling here… as usual
Level design is one of the hardest things for me to do when it comes to games. Sure I can make a single level to test certain ideas for a game but after that… I got nothin. If anyone wants to give any ideas that’d be great! I may just go for a more wacky level design where the puzzles you try to solve with the grenades don’t necessarily mean blasting other objects… but instead the player. Note: player can’t be hurt by the grenades.
