I’m in once again!

I somehow missed LD31, and without realizing it made a game that fit its theme for Global Game Jam earlier this year. 😛

Anyway, I’m back and excited to participate in the first LD of 2015.

I’ll be using Unity 5 engine, with Blender and GIMP for assets. I will probably use FL Studio [mobile] for most of my audio (if I actually find time for it), but may use the BFXR for sound effects.

I also intend to stream a bit of my development process throughout the weekend. A shameless plug for my Twitch channel can be found here:

Two years ago was my first Ludum Dare. Coincidentally it was my last successfully completed entry as well, so I’m hoping for a repeat.

I will be using the following tools:
Unity Pro / MonoDevelop
FL Studio [mobile]

I may or may not use some Unity Asset Packages. I will try to avoid them for the most part, but if I do, I may end up using any of the following:
Mixamo Auto Rigger

I have an exciting challenge for myself for this Ludum Dare.

Since I am completely busy all weekend, I’m going to try to practice honing scope of design. I will be spending 6 hours riding a train on Sunday morning. I will use that time to do my actual development. We’ll see what we can come up with by the end of that. :) (Expectations: Low)

I will be working in my mobile environment, so I will be running

Unity 4 with Playmaker, NGUI, and ProCore add-ons.
Blender 2.7
Gimp 2
FL Studio 11

Razer Edge Tablet (Unity Dev/Art Assets)
Nexus 7 Tablet (Testing)
iPad 4 (Audio)

It’s been one year since my first Ludum Dare game jam, and I’ve learned a lot since then, so I’m really excited for this compo. This will also be the first one since then that I haven’t had distractions from traveling.

For tools I will be using:

Looking forward to Ludum Dare 26! This is my third attempt at a Ludum Dare competition. I was successful on my first try, but not as much on my second, so here’s to another successful event!

I completed my first LD challenge last August with LD24, and I’m excited to be joining in again. This time I’ll have some interesting time constraints since I will be out of town for most of the competition. I’m going to target web with a 3D Unity game again.
