In Earth you defend your home planet against incoming asteroids. Earth was made in Love2D with Notepad++, SFXR and Paint.NET.
This is my first ever entry to a Ludum Dare compo! I’ve learnt a valuable lesson about time management.

‘Earth’ is finished! My first LD entry!

24 hours in and despite the tricky theme, I’ve got something going that I’m pretty happy with. I’m using Love2d, SFXR and Paint.NET for everything. Here’s what I’ve got so far:
You’ve Only Got One® home planet! Defend it! (Not a metaphor for global warming)
Blow up the incoming asteroids with your gun. Yep, that’s all there is to it (baby steps).
More to come when I wake up tomorrow hopefully.
