or better: We are done.

As like yesterday, we want to add a small resume of our day and the LD Jam:

The day:
We started at 9 a.m. in the morning with something playable, but it wasn’t very pretty.
Most of the coding work was done and some fixes were to be made. The game was finished at about 7 p.m., but we had some building issues and some things had to be done about our highscore system. Right now we are tired and finally submitted the game!

The Jam:
For our first Jam it has been great. We took a small project and did it without any major problems.
We really enjoy our project and it is the best playable game we ever did.
Plans were made to publish this game for mobile devices sooner or later.

What is left to say?
Thanks to all of the other jam and compo participants who always motivated us to keep on working with their posts here on LudumDare.

Greetings and Auf Wiedersehen
Zhorky, TridecaDice and CaptainUlli

BTW:… THATS our entry

That’s it for today

Soo… that’s our progress for today…

What is left to say?
– We had a great day and lots of fun.
– Most of our Assets are finished, but not ingame yet.
– We have one day left, because we can’t work on monday.
– We will finish it the way we planned it.

All in all: Our first LD and first game jam is a huge success for us and our friendship.
We started today at 2am, had huge problems finding something for the theme and ended up with something awesome.

We guess thats it for today. We wish you all lots of success and fun for the rest of the day AND

Most of the programming work is done and the assets are stuck somewhere in the Pipeline.
For now: It looks good for team Gamescalation. :)

We hope everyone has a good time by now.

We finally got a idea and our first character concept art.

So… It’s some kind of endless runner and our golem shapeshifts into other elemental forms.
The main function is working (walking and very basic world generation).

Out of the mystical land of Schnitzel Germany a group of undaunted adventurers try to take part in this glorious competition.

The contestants are well studied folks from all over the kingdom.
The very name of those fine squires are: TridecaDice, CaptainUlli, (Sir) Zhorky and … maybe Zallavin (“If maybe he gets his stuff done…”)

The fine tools of our choice are:

  • Arts: Adobe XYZ
  • Sculpting: Autodesk Maya
  • Workbench: Unity3D
  • Instrument: Visual Studio
  • (Din: Beepbox)
