Is there a reason why i can’t see all categories in my entry ratings?

My flock algorithm. It's constantly changing shape.

My flock algorithm. It’s constantly changing shape.

And there is first progress – Flock algorithm. Boids are following mouse.
Flock algorithm can be described as:
1. Cohere – long range attraction – steer towards average position of others.

2. Separate – avoid others.

3. Align – steer towards average heading of others.

(4.) Controll – follow the mouse.

So let’s imagine our birds. “Find food”, “Avoid predators”, “Go from A to B”, “Be responsible for your flock”.
What do you think?

Finally i made something playable.
Still do not have one spritesheet.
And I couldn’t make another set of characters for second player.

Third time.
I couldn’t miss this LD. I had to be here :)

* JavaScript – Playground.js or maybe Create.js
* VIM
* PyxelEdit maybe
* Microphone for SFX and music maybe ?

Unfortunately my personal laptop is under repair so I have to work on different machine. So I don’t have all my stuff and it will be harder this time.

I almost made my dungeon generator. I need only to make some doors.
Generator is not efficient enough for me but I know I can’t do it forever.

If the game is 100% polished, you published it too late.

First day of my second ld. I’m exhausted because I slept maybe 4 hours. Yesterday was my birthday party and I didn’t want to sleep all day.
I wasted a lot of time trying to find out satisfying idea and I think i got one.
My game will be grid-based-procedurally-generated-dungeon, where your only weapon is friendship. I mean you can change enemies into allies.

I’m using Playground.js with Canvas Query and few weeks ago it got a major update and I really like it because its much easier to make nice, juicy game with particles, tweens etc than during previous ludum dare.

Ok. It’s time for sleep. I can’t develop anything when I feel and look like a zombie.

I added new power-ups, inbetweening, better collisions, healing system and more!
I had to rewrite big part of game, but now it’s much easier to add new stuff 😉
And probably today my friend will join to me 😉

Now i have to focus on animations, graphics , sounds and what is most important – new types of enemies and bosses.

There is current version 😉

Yeah. There it is! Simple Shoot’em all. I have a lot work to do but I’m pleasured when I think what I have done.

Please consider muting the sound volume – I didn’t tweak it yet.

I’m in!
Well it’s my first LD. I’m still not sure if I work solo or with friend.
But no matter what I’ll make a game 😉
I plan to use:

  • Language and framework –  Javascript with Rezoner’s CanvasQuery
  • Editor – Sublime Text 3
  • Pixel Art – PyxelEdit
  • Sound – Sfxr
