Bored of making games for keyboards, mice and gamepads?

Join the ALT CTRL Game Jam! (11-21 September)

2015-02
This jam is about being creative with the controls of your game. Most developers are limiting themselves to the most standard and common controls: keyboard, mouse, gamepad. The aim of the jam is to try do experiment away from these standard boundaries.

So take out the duct tape, soldering iron, some spare parts, a development board (like the arduino), old controller shells you have laying around, and make the ultimate control for your game.
If you don’t feel like you’re too good with gluing things together, soldering etc, you can get creative with the things you already have.

Undermind is finally done!

I finally made it!
I completed my first solo game for the compo. It was difficult, but suprisingly i didn’t hit too many obstacles.
I planned the game to be something completely different. However the first night i got inspired to make it into an atmospheric first person game. I used UFPS as middleware for better FPS controls, i did all models, sounds, textures and audio (also reused some sounds i had permission to use).

I have participated in plenty of game jams so far, but this was my first effort at doing something by myself.

So, check out my game, Undermind:

Working alone on an environmental first person mining thingie.

Probably going to use UFPS for controls if making a First person shooter game.

Hi guys!

Our team called Dark-1 made a demo game which got first place at Global Game Jam in our country last year. We submitted the game to the Bundle-In-A-Box Indie Dev Grant and we got nominated a few days ago!

If you happen to buy the Bundle In a Box Startegy Bundle , don’t forget to vote. And when you do, we would greatly appreciate if you take our game into consideration.

Me and my mates, we finished our game Dream Island. It is a trippy experience we created using excerpts of some of our dreams and putting them all together on an island.

We are very happy what came out because started as a general idea of putting dreams together and finished with… what it is.
So the jam is success (YAY) for us.

Our jam entry is right here
