The Update
I haven’t been working that much this week, the normal development cycle should continue in a couple weeks. I’m going to try to release an update every week, even if Its just small things. This update packs a lot of stuff, but most of it isn’t available to play. The Guardian Mode update may come in a couple weeks. If you’ve played Mann vs Machine in TF2 before, its going to be a lot like that. However, I’m trying to make it so that placement is important, as if it was just an onslaught of robots only the tiger mode could be used. I am considering making enemies hurt more, and nerfing regen so you are forced to switch modes frequently. I forgot to make some of the UI larger this week, thats for next. I’ve changed the tree textures to not look disgustingly ghastly. They look rather OK now. In the normal world mode, I’ve also added trees everywhere.
However, this week I released a completely revamped tutorial, much better than before. It teaches the player well, and introduces the forms nicely. Also, a new Music track has been added for the tutorial and (later) main menu. My good friend is making the songs for me, and he is still making more. Have a look at the tutorial here:


It goes on and on about the things ect. I fixed some more bugs/colliders, but its not too noticeable.
About Guardian Mode
As said before, its alot like MvM. There is currency called Quipz. Perhaps I’ll make it so only some forms can get money? Quipz are used for upgrades like extra regen, health, ect. So far I have made textures/prefabs for 3 robot enemies, the
Scout – Fast movement, low melee attack
Bruiser – Swings a heavy lightsaber that is slow, but does tons of damage
Melee – Just the normal melee fighter
I am planning to add another ranged one, perhaps a robot archer of some sort. Maybe a walker bot? I’ve been working on my pixel art and I might redo all the terrain textures.
