Hello, finally I can show something to you. I have worked these two days in a platform prototype, and I was focused in the main character the last eight hours. And this is the result!

 

 

I wanted that the animations and sprites were different depending if you are looking left or right. I have solved that problem with a sprite done with bones (Spriter).

Now I am working in add these animations in game. See you tomorrow!

Hello everybody! My name is Javifugitivo and I am a veteran in the Ludum Dare, but this time I have created a new studio for this Ludum Dare: Eternal Castle. I will work with my musician (Felix Herrero) in a tiny game (always depending of the Jam theme, of course).

We will use Game Maker Studio again as main engine and a lot of interesting tools:

  • Aseprite for pixel-art
  • Spriter Pro for Animations (if it is needed)
  • Bxfr and other tools for Sound and Music
  • Trello and Google Drive for teamwork

Joining a Jam always is special, but meeting a lot of friend devs, edition after edition in the Ludum Dare is one of the best moment for an indie-dev. Good luck to everybody and work a lot in making your dreams reality 😉
