Shoddy, but finished

Well, it’s mostly held together with duct tape, but it’s finished. I was unable to have it as polished as I had hoped, nor was I able to create as much content, but it’s technically a success. Technically.

I’ll probably spend some time after the competition to clean up the code and fix any lingering bugs.

Time for level design (and hopefully music at some point)

It’s a Start

Got all the generic stuff like physics and rendering out of the way. Now I can make the actual game part (which I’m too lazy to do right now).

Touch Blocks, Avoid Spikes – Finished

With 11 minutes to spare. Right now there’s only a windows executable and LOVE file but I hope to add a Linux and Mac version at some point. Relatively happy with how it turned out, though it does feel a bit too simple in terms of puzzles.

Almost Done

Ran into some bugs, but the foundation is complete. I just need to make a couple more stages and it should be finished.

Some Basic Stuff

Settled on an idea and am now working on the basics (with a bit of animation to keep myself interested).

You need to touch each of the coloured boxes while avoiding the spikes. The fewer turns used, the higher your score (possibly including a threshold which causes you to lose). Currently movement is in the cardinal directions but I plan to change it. Different stages will have different movement types such as the knight from Chess. Spikes move in real time, so hopefully it will require a bit of finesse in the later stages.
