Vector Decay – Progress

After 9 hours of work, I’ve almost finished with the game core. Entity system and the asset management works, I have a player with toogleable controllability and animations. All that’s missing is collision detection and rendering things relative to the camera, and I can finally move on to the game mechanics!

I’m not sure if I’ll make a game in time, but I’ll try to use a task board.

Tools: Arch Linux, Atom, Löve2D, Aseprite, GIMP, Krita, Audacity, sfxr, cgit, a notebook and a backup laptop, in case I’ll have to leave my desktop.

I hope, I will have a chance to somehow incorporate the writing system I have worked on in the past half year, in form of like an alien language or something like that.

My first Ludum Dare, I will use PyGame with my code base, Sublime Text as IDE and Paint.NET as a graphics editor.
