So my ideas were far to complex for so little time, so I practically wasted my first night.
Time to restart :p
Depending on the theme, and my mood. I may be in again 😀
Hi, My name is David Vandal, and this will be my fourth or so ludum dare. Really looking forward to this one.
Music: 2x DMG-01 + LSDJ, Ibanez GAX70, Crate GLX65, Mapex Pro-M Series, Numark DM1800x, Yamaha EZ-200
Programming: FlashDevelop + FlashPunk
Computer: Toshiba L305D with Windows 8 Consumer Preview, (May Change OS, however)
Fuel: Reddit, Mountain Dew, Beef Jerky…etc.
I’m in…for the forth time or so i believe
I can’t wait. xD
Can anyone wait? Cause i can’t…..
AHHHHHHH….LUDUM DARE xD :0 :0
So this sucks, I have to quit… My dad REALLY REALLY wants me to deal with putting his website up today. Also my game idea themed alone is so complex it won’t be nearly finished in time. Maybe ill do the jam. But either way, this game will take a few months to do what i want to with it. Maybe it will be my first great showpiece 😉 So sorry LD community…..
I have all the concepts on paper, and then bam! I got a calzone and Anchorman came on, so no actual progress, until tomorrow!
So at first I was like, WHAT KIND OF THEME IS ALONE!!!! And now I’m like, heck yes, I have an amazing concept thought up. The bad thing is this: If pulled off, it will be the most complex game I have ever made, that being said, I have ~ 47 hours to do it!
So, not too much to say, maybe this is my third LD, and this is what i will work with:
IDE: Flashdevelop (AS3.0)
Music: LSDJ or Psycle with a mixture of guitar maybe?
Fuel: Mountain dew and beef jerky! (Still needs to be obtained :'( )
Wish: KITTENS FOR THEME (No joke, I have a few GREAT ideas!)
Oy yeah, it is almost that time of year again! Can not wait
I decided to drop-out of LD October Challenge, due to the fact that I am not too far and another surprise project is coming up.
I would like to participate in the October challenge, and make a completely new game. I started an engine and then I thought, “I don’t think this game will actually go anywhere”. And “Games that get money fast are simpler, arcade style, and pixely”. So, I decided to stop working on the engine. And before I begin think up some concepts for another game, I was wondering if anyone would like to join my quest in a miny dev team. I work in FlashDevelop with FlashPunk Library. If you seem interested to do a project this month, comment. Also, to be specific, I am not looking for a co-programmer, I am looking for someone(s) good at pixel art, thinking up concepts together and making Music.
Im pretty behind, so check my blog for info.
