Day 1 went brilliant but then day 2 has come and everything has gone down the @!#*er collision just stopped working, mobs are not working correctly, button rectangles are also completely off, the x and y and like flipped and mirrored everything has gone bad so i’m bailing.

Progress Log 1- Corrupt World

This is my first progress log for this Ludum Dare and i am happy to say, I have do a lot those being:

 

I have the main engine up and running,

Level generator,

GUI,

Plauer Animation,

Stable FPS,

Title Menu,

About Menu,

Credit Menu,

Custom Sound System – This took roughly 2 hours

Re-creation of java.awt.graphics in LWJGL – This took around 3 – 4 hours to calculate,

 

I am using LWJGL and Slick2D with Java and its coming along very good considering I missed 12 hours.

 

Bug I have to fix my mouse calibration for Rectangles and collision, also entity spawning and objective 😀 all in all its coming along brilliently. Basically how this relates to the theme is you press “Switch World!” and everything in the world becomes corrupt until you switch back and whilst you are in the corrupt your sanity goes down. That’s how it’s planned to work anyhow there is still alot to do in the next dayscreen1

Under The Earth Progress #4 Near Completion

As we near the end of Ludum Dare 29 I also near the completion of Under The Earth. As show your goal is to get a mysterious orb from deep within the earth and return safely to camp.

Also i implemented a title, focus listener and pause

Campsite is done many hazards added like lava and deep water official textures so the Prelude Of The Chambered texture placeholders are now gone :) its almost ready :) tomorrow is bosses, the end item, secrets, loot that adds score (properly do that today actually now that i think about it), more levels apart from camp and undergroundcaven, bug fixs

How you collect items is also showen (the gun sprite)!

Finally got projectiles, ammo and entity’s in this they do hurt the player also got level transaction after a hour and a half so its all good :) More comming soon :)UTE 2

So im making a 3D game in java called Under The Earth for this Ludum Dare 29

and progress is being made :) graphics done in paint.net (day before drawn to save me time)UTE 1

This ludum dare them “you only get one” makes no sense logically (to some people) so this time i have decided to make a choice game where it all depends on the choices you make.
