Slowly the game is taking Shape:


You are a thief who tries to escape from the Police. Greedy as you are you try to grab as much purses, smartphones, … on your way to the escape vehicle.

The more loot you snatch the more cops will be following you. But fear not! You can throw donuts at them to distract them for a short time :) (Those still ugly orange things are donuts .> )

I had a lot of fun during the first day of LD despite losing some time with graphics & housekeeping. Tomorrow is all for feature adding, gui and polishing.

Very excited to test all the games! Saw lots and lots of little gems in the RSS timeline.

Hey there.

I thought i’d give you a progress update.

But first a picture of a delicious soup my darling made for me. (Thx honey 😉 )



My Game Idea has the name “TheThief” and well yeah, you have to run from cops and stuff.

I shall list more features once they are implemented :)



Game mechanics work pretty well so far and it’s very close to a “Start -> Play -> End” – State. Of course a lot of stuff that makes this game interesting is still missing. But i’m very positive about the deadline :>

Oh, and i moved to a way more comfy place. My back will thank me later 😉

Coding: Java + Slick2d or libgdx (depends on Theme)

Graphics: Paint.net, BMFont

Sound: BFXR, Audacity, Otomata, Cheap Build-In Microphone

(p.s: I hope it’s ok to change the/add tools i use for creating the game, depending which theme will be chosen? (Like Tiled if i do a Platformer))

Help with Math

my idea is visualising but i’m stuck at a very simple math problem:

From the center (200,150) i want to spawn objects an move them direction mouseclick  until they hit the border of the screen.

I’m able to increment x, y correctly, what i’m not able to do is to let the object move in the correct direction the mouse was clicked.


Hope someone can help me :)

And another ‘I’m in’ :)
