So I spruced up the office a little with some models I made with my girlfriend and worked on some background stuff, still got the majority of programming to do tomorrow though, and a special twist to add in.. But I don’t think its in too bad shape 😀

Well from starting with a seemingly good idea i have made very little progress… I guess its gonna be a game about opening a filing cabinet…

Well after a couple of hours just messing about I have made… a filing cabinet… gotta start some real work after lunch

With the entries i’ve seen so far for LD34 there has only been 1 game using the unity webplayer. Now I understand that chrome has dropped support for it (hence why i changed to using firefox) but is it really at the point now that no-one is making games using the webplayer anymore? It was a brilliant system and completley removed all the hassle of having to download unity-made games. Even if it seems like no-one is going to play the games on webplayer is it really that difficult (if you made a game in unity) to upload a webplayer version as well as the donwload version just to make the game a little more accesible to people who use browsers aside from chrome? I also understand that in some cases it is being taken over by the webgl versions but in my experience they don’t work 90% of the time.
Getting a bit late for this really but best say it anyway! Second ludum dare to do and I’m looking forward to it! I’m gonna be using unity for the game engine, paint.net for graphics and (probably) bfxr for sound effects.
Good luck everyone! 😀
I meant to upload this before i went to bed last night but i forgot so anyway here is a quick timelapse of how day 1 went https://youtu.be/t9TrECA18iA Anyway! On with the rest of day 2!!
Well its my first time trying a jam so why not go with the big one, LD33 here I come. Heres what I’m most likely gonna be using:
Engine: Unity 3D
Audio: Audacity/BFXR
Graphics: Paint.net/GIMP
